Day 23: Something you wish you had done in your life.

Day 23: Something you wish you had done in your life.

Hummm, WELL, my list is long. But I will give you just one.
I wish that when I was pregnant with Emilee, I had gotten professional maternity pictures done.
I think maternity photos are fantastic, and I wish I would have done it!

Sincerely,
Me

Day 22: Something you wish you hadn’t done in your life.

Day 22: Something you wish you hadn’t done in your life.

So for me this is a difficult one to explain… I wish I would have never quit college… I was very immature… And wanted a break, to experience being an adult! HAHAHA Why is it when we are younger we cannot wait to “grow up” and as we get older we wonder why we were in such a big hurry?

But I can tell you… if I had continued college, I most defiantly would not have met my amazing husband, and then we would not have had our gorgeous daughter. And I would not have this wonderful family! So yes in a way, I wish I would have continued school, but I am also happy with the path I took.

Sincerely,
Me

Day 21: (scenario) Your best friend is in a car accident and you two got into a fight an hour before. What do you do?

Day 21: (scenario) Your best friend is in a car accident and you two got into a fight an hour before. What do you do?

Well this is a silly question… I would obviously go to my friend. I would put aside any differences or upset feelings and be there, however she needed.
The END.

Sincerely,
Me

Day 20: Your views on drugs and alcohol.

Day 20: Your views on drugs and alcohol.

My views on alcohol….
Ok so yes I drink. I even enjoy a nice glass of wine, maybe two or three. I even enjoy a few different types of beers. In my younger years I even enjoyed some harder drinks better…. But as I have aged drinking just doesn’t have the same appeal. I don’t have time to have my whole next day down the toilet…. Lol literally! ;p So generally I feel that if you drink in moderation, then it is ok!

But I do not condone drinking and driving....... SO PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE!! THAT IS NOT OK… EVER!

My views on drugs….
YUCK, really JUST Yuck! If that is what you are into, then please stay clear from me and my little family.
Sincerely,
Me

Day 19: What do you think of religion? Or what do you think of politics?

Day 19: What do you think of religion? Or what do you think of politics?

UGH I dread you day 19…

While I respect everyone’s right to religion, I personally am not religious and I expect that to be respected as well.
I was raised catholic; I even went to a catholic school for a few years. But it was not like we were terribly religious but that was the religion I grew up around.  I guess somethings have not always added up to me with religion. I try to go with the ideal of being kind and respectful of others. I believe that there must someone/something out there, a creator of sorts, but to call him GOD…. I am just not comfortable with that.

I really enjoyed the movie Religulous…

AND as for politics…. BLAH

Democracy is a great gift, and all people who can, should exercise their right to vote. If you don’t vote, you don’t get to complain about the results.

Sincerely,
Me

Day 18: Your views on gay marriage.

Day 18: Your views on gay marriage.

I will make this post short and sweeeeeet! :)
Who am I to judge who wants to marry who? In my opinion, if you are in love with that person and that person is who YOU want to spend the rest of your life with, then YOU should be able to. I cannot imagine someone or some law telling me that I could not marry Jon.  So in my opinion if you are straight or gay you should be able to be married.

Sincerely,
Me

PS Happy New Years EVE!
